Farm Explorers

Join Parks and Recreation on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. for FARM EXPLORERS at Hess Hathaway Park for a FREE special activity night for children out at the farm. Lots of challenges, close encounters with the animals, crafts, games, and more. This is a collaborative program between Oakland County 4-H and Waterford Parks and Recreation sponsored by Oakland County Farm Bureau. There is a free hot dog, chips, and drink while supplies last and plenty of FUN all night.” Don’t miss out!

GFL Bills - Payment Reminder

To avoid possible transfer to taxes, GFL bills must be paid by August 15, 2022.  Waterford residential curbside customers are encouraged to pay their GFL bills before August 15, 2022. Any unpaid invoices and late fee amounts after August 15th each year may be assigned to the property tax roll with an additional 6% administrative fee for collection on the December tax bill.  GFL can be reached by phone at the dedicated Waterford number 248-204-6762 or online at www.glfusa.com.  Waterford customers are invoiced quarterly with payments due on January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st. Invoices are sent approximately 45 days before the invoice's due date.

Subdivision Roads Repaving - $1 Million Now Available, Up to 10% Contribution

Waterford Township has designated $1 Million in one-time funding contributions to repave subdivision roads for residents willing to take on a road improvement Special Assessment District (SAD) through the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC). Funding for this one-time opportunity made possible by the American Rescue Plan Act, and designated by the Township Board, is limited in amount and in the time frame in which it can be used. Residents interested in subdivision road SAD projects and applying for Township funding will need to ACT QUICKLY.
