Taxes Due September 14, 2022

To avoid interest/penalties, please pay your summer taxes by Wednesday, September 14, 2022. Any payments made starting September 15, 2022, will be subject to interest/penalties.  Please take advantage of our online services through our website costing just $1 if paid through a checking or savings account. www.waterfordmi.gov/taxes. Taxes may also be paid in person at the Treasurer's office. We also offer a drop box outside the Treasurer's office door(as you walk up on the left connected to the building) if you wish to drop your tax payment there for contactless payment.

Mad Music & Arts Festival

Check out Waterford’s new music and arts festival Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Hess-Hathaway park. This free, family-friendly event features performances by local musicians Smells Like Flannel, NoFoot, Dan Tillery, and Dave Bennett. Food will be available for purchase from The Grilled Wrap Food Truck.

Waterford Senior Center Walk and Roll

Join the Waterford Senior Center for its annual Walk & Roll for Meals on Wheels fundraiser event on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Did you know that the Waterford Meals on Wheels program delivers 1,600 meals PER WEEK to homebound Waterford seniors Incredible! Money raised by the Walk & Roll event is essential to continuing to serve the community in this capacity. So bring the family out for some exercise and help this great cause. Please call to register at 248-682-9450.  Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., and the walk begins at 10:00 a.m.

Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Support Local Expo

Join the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce and dozens of local businesses, governmental entities, and local organizations for the support local expo Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Waterford Mott High School. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with businesses and resources in the Waterford community. Free to attend, raffles and prizes, promotional items, and more.

Subdivision Roads Repaving - $1 Million Now Available, Up to 10% Contribution

Waterford Township has designated $1 Million in one-time funding contributions to the repaving of subdivision roads for residents willing to take on a road improvement Special Assessment District (SAD) through the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC).  Funding for this one-time opportunity made possible by the American Rescue Plan Act, and designated by the Township Board, is limited in amount and in the time frame in which it can be used. Residents interested in subdivision road SAD projects and applying for Township funding will need to ACT QUICKLY.   Visit the website for more information about subdivision roads in Waterford Township, links to the RCOC SAD page, and details regarding the $1 million Township funding contribution.  www.waterfordmi.gov/roads
