As part of the 2023 OCHD Beach Monitoring Program…
The following beaches are closed:
- Lakeland Estates Beach on Eagle Lake in Waterford due to elevated E. coli levels: 1,593.56 M.P.N./100 ml daily geometric mean, 332.68 M.P.N./100 ml 30-day geometric mean
- Lake Angelus – Golfview Estates Beach on Wormer Lake in Waterford due to elevated E. coli levels: 372.83 M.P.N./100 ml daily geometric mean, 76.23 M.P.N./100 ml daily geometric mean
- Eagle Lake Road Beach on Eagle Lake in Waterford due to elevated E. coli levels: 577.74 M.P.N./100 ml daily geometric mean, 142.58 M.P.N./100 ml daily geometric mean
These results are above the allowable limit for daily sampling of 300 MPN/100ml and/or above 130 MPN/100 ml for 30-day sampling. Closure signs will be posted and additional samples will be collected on Monday (7/17) with results available on Tuesday (7/18).
