Here's some basic information to keep in mind while planning your garage sale this season:
No permits are required for garage or rummage sales in Waterford Township. However, residents are permitted a maximum of two sales per year not to exceed 7 days each.
Any signage advertising your sale must be placed on private property with permission, not located in the right of way or attached to utility poles or street signs. Please remove all signs in a timely fashion at the conclusion of your sale.
