As part of the 2018 Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) Beach Monitoring Program, the following semi-public beach remains closed:
Lakeland Estates Beach on Eagle Lake in Waterford due to high E. coli levels: 1,243 M.P.N./100 ml daily geometric mean and 402 M.P.N./100 ml 30-day geometric mean.
These results are above the allowable limit for E. coli for daily and 30-day sampling. The allowable limit for daily sampling is 300 M.P.N./100 ml. The allowable limit for 30-day sampling is 130 M.P.N./ 100 ml.
