Starting June 3rd, 2019 Oakland County Animal Shelter and Pet Adoption Center (OCAS/PAC) Census team workers will begin going door to door in Waterford Township to verify compliance with the Michigan State Dog Law of 1919 that requires all dogs to have a valid dog license. This law was enacted to ensure all dogs have current rabies vaccinations.
The census workers will be driving marked county vehicles and will be wearing county shirts with proper identification. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact OCAS/PAC at 248-975-4463.
