As Waterford prepares to celebrate Independence Day, we ask the community to be aware of the Michigan Fireworks Safety Act and Waterford Township’s Fireworks Ordinance. Both help guide the approved use of consumer fireworks in Michigan and Waterford.
Consumers fireworks may be ignited, discharged, or used between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. on June 29 to July 4 on each of those days.
