Janet Macunovich and Steven Nikkila will guide you through sharpening those overworked pruning shears, putting an edge on a dull shovel or spade, preserving the wooden handle of your best weeder, and evaluating the life left in your hedge shears. Have on hand so you can follow along: WD40 oil, linseed oil, a pocket honing stone, a Scotch-brite soap-free scouring pad or no-soap steel wool and some cotton rags. No fee, just fun.
