Friday, July 26th Residential Waste Collection Update

Thank you for your extraordinary patience as we work together to get through these continuing delays and missed collections of residential waste removal services in Waterford Township following the July 1st transition in providers from GFL to Priority Waste. It’s been trying to say the very least.

Down to business - Priority Waste provided another update this afternoon that indicates they will have trucks running in every section of the Township with the intent to clean all materials that are still curbside at this time.

After Priority Waste runs routes across Waterford on Saturday, if you still have a missed collection, please report it on our website at this link and Township staff will share those with Priority Waste on a daily basis next week. https://shorturl.at/bdNt0

We have a strong contract with protections that the Township intends to exercise as necessary on behalf of the residents. The immediate priority is to get the trash, recycling, and yard waste off the curbs consistently and in a timely manner.
