Two Ways to Donate Your Books
The Friends of the Waterford Township Public Library accepts donations of books, DVDs, and CDs on the 2nd Saturday of every month between 10:00a and 1:00p. Items that are in good condition are used in the library’s collection or at the Friends’ Used Book Sales. Now we have another way to donate your books. We have a bright green book donation bin from Better World Books in the southeast corner of the parking lot. This bin is there for when you can’t make it to a Used Book Drop-off Day. Better World Books will sell, donate, or recycle the books. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the books will go the Friends of the Library who, in turn, use that money to support the library with funds for programs, furniture, special events and more. We still welcome your donations on our Used Book Drop-off Days, but now you have another way to donate between drop-off days. Please note: Only books should be put in the bin.
