A Message from Waterford Township Supervisor Gary Wall

Planning for 2018 Waterford Township Earth Day cleanup is in full swing!
We hope you’ll join us again this year for this annual event where volunteers like you spend a few hours in the community on a Saturday morning helping clear litter from Waterford’s roadsides.

This year our Earth Day Cleanup event will be held Saturday, April 21st from 8am to 2pm. Volunteers may choose their shift during these hours  -- we just ask you to be done by 2pm so we may collect the bags!

Volunteers will meet in the Town Hall parking lot to collect supplies and their location assignment, then head out for cleanup.
Trash bags, gloves, safety vests, insect repellant and water bottles will be provided.
Please bring sunscreen and rakes if you would like – rakes help reach litter stuck in the high weeds.
Some volunteers also prefer to bring their own gloves to ensure a good fit!
Please RSVP in advance by phone or email to help us with supply count.
248-674-6201 or supervisor@waterfordmi.gov
Help spread the word – please forward this email to some local contacts in your email list, too! The more the merrier!
Thank you again,

Gary Wall
