May I check out the books that are on display in the lobby?

Books on display are able to be checked out with 1 exception. The books that are showcased behind the locked glass doors are sometimes unavailable because they are either from someone's private collection, or they are an integral part of the display. Any of the other books in the lobby area are available to be checked-out. Ask a librarian if you have any questions about the availability of any item.
