Attorney Roberto A. Bihar was appointed as Magistrate at the 51st District Court in 2025. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and emigrated to Los Angeles, CA in 1982; he is fluent in Spanish. In 1996 Mr. Bihar moved to Michigan and attended Madonna University where he double majored in Criminal Justice and Spanish in 1999, graduating Summa Cum Laude. In January 2009, Mr. Bihar began his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Joseph G. Fabrizio of 52-2nd District Court during his first year of law school. He graduated, Cum Laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2012 and joined Karlstrom Cooney, LLP as an associate attorney. In 2014, Roberto A. Bihar, PLLC was founded and Mr. Bihar started his solo practice specializing in all areas of criminal defense, as well as probate law. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association, and the Hispanic Bar Association of Michigan.
