The Waterford Township contract for residential curbside waste removal includes one bulk item per month.
You do not need to call ahead to schedule collection of your bulk item, simply place it at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your regular weekly collection day and the waste hauler will remove the item.
Large or bulk items include:
Mattress & Box Spring - MUST be wrapped in plastic*
Washers
Dryers
Freezers - please remove doors and racks
Refrigerators - please remove doors and racks
Stoves
Microwaves
Air Conditioners
Hot Water Tanks - please empty
Sofas and Loveseats
Chairs
Tables
Dressers
Desks
Carpet - must be rolled and tied, each bundle weighing no more than 50 pounds and no longer than 4ft. in length. Maximum 10 bundles.
