Waterford Township’s contract for residential curbside collection includes weekly collection of unlimited yard waste in season.
Dates/Season
Yard waste will be collected in a separate truck beginning the first Monday on or after April 1 through the second full week in December.
2025: April 7 through December 12, 2025
2026: April 6 through December 18, 2026
2027: April 5 through December 17, 2027
2028: April 3 through December 15, 2028
2029: April 2 through December 14, 2029
2030: April 1 through December 13, 2030
Time
Yard waste should be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 a.m. on your regular weekly collection day.
Containers
Please place yard waste in brown paper yard waste bags or in metal or plastic waste containers no larger than 32 gallons that weigh no more than 50 lbs. If using a metal or plastic container, please clearly mark the container as YARD WASTE or COMPOST.
Quantity
There is no limit to the number of bags or containers that you can place at the curb for collection in season.
