The Waterford Fire Department provides fire prevention and fire safety talks, demonstrations and fire station tours for preschool children 3 to 4 years old. Lessons are held in schools, homes, businesses, or anywhere a community service organization may meet.
Scheduling Talks
Talks include information on the dangers of fire, smoke detectors, Stop-Drop-and-Roll, Exit Drills In The Home (E.D.I.T.H.), how to call 911 for help and a variety of other fire prevention and safety tips.
Talks are scheduled during business hours (8 a.m. - 4 p.m.) and fire station tours are provided upon request. During Fire Prevention Week in October, an open house is held at the fire station to make our department more available to the public.
If you are interested in scheduling a fire prevention lesson or station tour, please contact the administration office at 248-673-0405.
